Pat and Bernadette!
What women we come from! Those strong, determined, Catholic women of such character and faith. I know this is tough, but both of you know when it is time to let go. A painfree afterlife for your Mom must be just terrific. She so deserves that. Thinking of you...Ginger, Craig and kids.

Dear Patricia,
I have so many memories of your Mom. She was my favorite cousin, and a good friend to my mother.

The first time I met her was when I was in grade school and went with my parents to some big dinner in Castroville. There were so many people there, and I was told to sit at the children's table. There I sat all by myself and just about ready to cry, when Norma saw me. She came over and spent some time talking to me and keeping me company. From that time on, Norma was my favorite cousin.

Patricia, I send you my heartfelt sympathy for your loss.

Penny, Patricia and Bernadette --
Norma was truly a Zia to be reckoned with! A little scary when she got mad, but mostly I remember a lot of laughter -- and what a truly wonderful legacy that is. I hold you all in my heart as you go through this painful time.
Love you.

To all her children.
I just learned of your dear mom's passing tonight at St. Joseph's at 5:00 p.m. Mass when they announced to "pray for the repose of Norma Modena." When the announcement was made, my husband asked if it was "our Norma?" "Yes," was my reply. She will always remain our Norma.

She was always happy and had such a beautiful singing voice. Oh yeah, remember how she would answer her telephone?

I am sure both my parents are welcoming her home and are happy to see her! My mom especially.

Our sincerest condolences to all her family. We are so very sorry for your loss.

She was great and I loved her. I will always treasure our happy memories and speaking Italian together. Franca Costanza

Losing a parent is never easy and I send my sincere sympathy your way. One memory I have is being at your moms and between her snoring and my snoring, Penny didn't get any sleep at all that weekend. I think we moved the curtains with our snoring. Of course your mom said she didn't snore and Penny just rolled her eyes. Take care and remember all the good times
