Dear Reclusado Family:
My heart goes out to the Reclusado Family as they mourn the death of their Mother. I remember her well.If it takes a "village to raise a child" then Jeanette was in my village!! I can still hear her calling her kids in from play in the projects! God Bless you all, especially John

Our dear friends and former neighbors, I am saddened by your loss of your Mother, and I am utterly devastated by Rick's departure as well. I have not seen him in years, but I always heard good things about him through my brothers and friends in Salinas. Rick and I shared an entire lifetime as neighbors and classmates, and I regret not getting to know him as we became adults. I really miss his quiet soulfulness and great sense of humor, I can only imagine how his nature and personality expanded as he became a man. And it was your Mother who kept all of us safe and in line, often literally, as we began our journey as yet innocent children, oh so many years ago now, yet it seems like only yesterday. Kathy and Lucia, I send you and your brothers and extended family members, a wish for comfort and peace of mind during these transitions. The Angels have two more to call their own. Love and Light from the Casareno family: Mildred, Hope, Joaquin Jr, David, Alexander, Don, and Rosaria.

Mrs. Reclusado was a good friend of our mom's, Maria Torres-Gil, and together they organized the children and families of the Salinas housing project. We will always remember Mrs. Reclusado as a good and kind person who was a big part of our youth. We extend our condolences to her children, with whom we grew up with. Johnny and the Torres-Gil family.

To the Reclusado Family,

There are no words to express my sorrow.
Jeanette was such an exceptional woman, whom I loved, and will miss dearly.
She had such a great sense of fun, and taught me so very much about being a great mom.
When she sang, her voice was so beautiful,I will always remember her singing 'You are My Sunshine' to my babies as she held and rocked them.
She touched so many lives, mine especially. She will always hold a special place in my heart.

God bless you all

So sorry to hear of your mom's death. Just keep her memories alive for yourself and your children. You will survive, but it will take time. Keeping talking about those good times.
