A face & man so much a part of Salinas history.

My father, George Hirozawa, worked in the produce dept. of the Salinas Drive-in Market. When I went in the store, I would go see Bill and Adolf Brusa. Bill always called me "Dyno-Mite".
I am sorry he is gone, but the memories will last.

Bill was the greatest of the greatest generation. His optimism, his enthusiasm and his determination flowed down the generational ladder. They infused everyone around him. He made us all so much better!

Have a safe trip Bill. My mother worked for Bill at the Salinas Drive-in market on Monterey St, Elsie in the bakery dept.

I will always remember Bill as such a full of knowlege when it came to meat.. He was aways willing to help me with anything that the Cattlewomen of monterey county had to do with promoting beef!!! Such a nice man.
