Daddy I love and miss you but whenever I start to feel sad, I’ll stop, take a moment, and I’ll hear you sing the song you sang to me since I was a little girl and then my world will be all bright again….“You Are My Sunshine”!

Lloyd we are so very pleased that you are now with Edna again. At the same time there is a great void in our lives that we know will never be filled.
You often asked us not to forget you, you have my word that will not happen. You left us with the most loving, warm and humorous memories and we will keep you with us always by sharing with each other.
I said in your Euology that "if all men were like you the world would not have wars or hungry children." This I believe with all my heart.
I love you Lloyd, may God keep and Bless you always. Give my love to Edna.
Proud to be your son in-law, Ted

Dear Burnie & Family:
It is an honor to have you as my friend and to also know your Dad. He truly was a perfect example of a gentleman and wonderful Father. I will always cherish the "Grandpa" stories you told on our walks in the early mornings. May those and other wonderful memories of him bring you peace now and always.
Love,

Burnie,
My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
Although I never met your father personally, in the past year or so
since you and I have become reacquainted, I feel like I did know him. I know the CG enjoyed you sharing your love and pride for him with us. My heart goes out to your and your family, I know he will be missed tremendously

What an amazing man, Grandpa! Reflecting the other day with my Dad we realized just how much Grandpa had taught us without even trying. His lessons were in the way he lived his life and the way he loved in life. The way he held our hands tightly every time we saw him. The nicknames of all the kids because he either couldn't pronounce correctly or was just being silly. Skyler was Tyler, Makayla was either Camilla or Banilla, and Drake was always Rick! Oh Grandpa, we surely will miss your serenades in the garage...until we see each other again! I love you always and forever.
