Novella Galapon Matheson, of Sunnyvale, passed away peacefully at El Camino Hospital on August 24, 2012. She was 50 years old.
Novella was born in the Philippines and came to the U.S. in 1988. She is the oldest among four siblings. Novella loved to travel. Her dream came true when she traveled to Europe. She lived her life to the fullest. She worked as a Finance Accountant at Serramonte Ford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bien and Lydia Galapon.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Matheson, of 17 years; her two sisters, Amour(Franz) Gonzalez of Manteca, and Tina(Jeff) Marquis of Manteca; her youngest brother, Rey Galapon of Milpitas; and Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 31, 2012 11:00 a.m. at the Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis St., Salinas, CA 93901.
Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott St., Salinas, CA 93901.
