Wanda J. Porterfield, 71, of Salinas, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012. She was born July 28, 1940 in Maddock, ND.
Wanda was a homemaker and bookkeeper. She also served in the U.S. Air Force in 1959.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
Wanda enjoyed traveling and loved her dog, Wesley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyce; son, Ron Porterfield; mother, Judy Barr; and brother, Jerry Barr.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Connie Porterfield and her husband Joe Valencia of Salinas.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis St., Salinas, CA 93901.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Struve and Laporte Chapel.
Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott St., Salinas, CA , 93901.
