Frances M. Gomez, 88, of Salinas, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012. She was born September 17, 1923 in Mexicali, Mexico.
Frances was a member of Sacred Heart and attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel Vincente Gomez and her son, David.
Frances is survived by her daughters, Blanca E. Martinez of Salinas, Mary J. Olson of Schertz, TX, Korah Boehme of Fairfield, Lee Gomez of Los Angeles, Irma Gomez of Salinas; son, Mario J. Mendoza of Salinas; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
We were honored by God to have you as our mother and grandmother. You will be the matriarch of our family for generations to come. We love you
Funeral Service will take place Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 18200 Damian Way, Salinas, CA 93907. Burial will follow.
