Rhoda Lee Sims, 84, of Salinas, passed away Friday, May 4, 2012.
She was born February 26, 1928 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Rhoda enjoyed gardening, bowling, walking in the mall, she worked in the Packing Sheds for 25 years, 10 years at Spiegel Food, and retired from Sherwood School Cafeteria after 7 years.
She was a member of Church of Christ, Women's International Bowling League.
Rhoda is preceded in death by her husband; Dillard Sims in 1979.
She is survived by sons; Leonard (Carolyn) Sims of Salinas, Larry (Cynthia) Sims of Salinas, brother; Dero (Arnell) Pippin of Oakhurst, 4 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA. 93901
